Regardless of whether or not they sign someone from Porto at the end of the season, Manchester United will surely be very sure of what they’re doing.

It’s well known the Red Devils have repeatedly sent scouts to watch the Dragons in 2023/24, and it was no different at the weekend.

Newspaper O Jogo today highlights Manchester United’s visit to Porto’s match against Boavista, pointing out that ‘has been customary throughout most of the season’.

Although the Portuguese media recently recalled the Red Devils’ old interest in Dragons’ goalkeeper Diego Costa, the newspaper doesn’t mention any potentail target the English club may have for the summer window.

Porto beat Boavista 2-1, with very good performances from Zé Pedro, Pepê and Francisco Conceição.

The Dragons are set to finish the Portuguese League in 3rd or 4th place, with this definitely not being a dream season for them. Still, something drew strong interest from Manchester United, who watched them week after week, and we shall soon find out whether the Red Devils are coming for one of their players.
