Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic has been linked with a move to the Premier League tirelessly over the past couple of weeks or so.
The 20 year old has mainly been reported to be interesting Chelsea and Liverpool, with claims relating to the Reds going back some years.
And now Manchester United are in the picture.
This week’s edition of SportBild says the club, along with Jurgen Klopp’s side, are ‘positioning’ themselves to sign Pulisic in the next summer transfer window. Chelsea want a winter deal, SportBild says they can’t have it.
A transfer fee for the US international is stated as €50-60m, which isn’t a ridiculous amount in the current market.
The 20 year old is struggling to get prominence at Borussia Dortmund this season, not one of the more important players as the club sit at the top of the Bundesliga.
His contract ends in June 2020, and SportBild believes that puts some pressure on a sale in the summer, especially if the player is keen to try a new adventure.
A hugely marketable US international? This is surely one Ed Woodward and the Glazers would get behind for Manchester United.
