When Portuguese newspapers report the scouting lists of a certain game, they either just name the clubs who had officials at the stands or, at most, they say who their targets were.

But A Bola brings a very interesting story today when reporting that Manchester United have watched Sporting star Bruno Fernandes on the weekend.

The outlet claims that the Red Devils are already ‘convinced’ by the player, but keep following his steps as a protocol of the club.

It’s said that Manchester United have already made the first contacts with Sporting’s board, and ‘developed some talks’ with the agency which represents the midfielder.

During Sunday’s game against Portimonense, Manchester United were able to watch Fernandes add one goal and two assists to his impressive statistics from this season. He now has a total of 23 goals and 13 assists in 41 appearances.

A Bola adds that Chelsea, Liverpool, Milan and Atletico Madrid are all interested in signing Fernandes, and he’s currently protected by a €100m release clause.
