Manchester United will hold a meeting this week with the aim of it leading to the signing of Eduardo Camavinga.
That’s according to Mohamed Bouhafsi of RMC who says the Red Devils will meet with the player’s entourage in the coming days to convince the player to move to Old Trafford.
Unfortunately for the Premier League club, the task isn’t going to be easy, with the 18-year-old preferring to stay in France at this stage of his career. His contract with Rennes expires in 2022, so finding an agreement with the Ligue 1 side would likely be easier.
It’s another Ligue 1 club which is the problem for Manchester United, and that’s PSG. According to the claims, the midfielder would prefer a move to the Paris side, presumably seeing it as a big step but also one which keeps him in France.
Going into further detail on their website, RMC state Camavinga isn’t short of clubs interested in him. Manchester United see his signing as a priority, have been keen for a while, and have now made their interest ‘official’.
Rennes are said to want €100m, however, that feels like an ambitious aim given the player’s contract situation.
