Manchester City, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are all in the picture for Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa.
That’s according to A Bola, who believe the goalkeeper could be in line for a €75m move in the summer transfer window.
The newspaper explains that Costa will be in the spotlight this summer as he’s almost guaranteed to be Portugal’s starting goalkeeper in the final four of the Nations League, which will take place in June and will be at the Club World Cup with Porto.
They’re hoping to use that for visibility and see the goalkeeper increase his value and his rating in Europe, where he’s been associated with clubs such as Manchester City, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
At 25-year-old Costa is now at his peak and certainly has a move in mind, a ‘career leap’, but he has a €75m release clause in his contract. That is seen as a high amount for the current market, even for teams with an ability to spend.
Manchester City, Manchester United and Bayern are all thought to be keen, though, despite that big clause and Porto’s clear intention to drive up his asking price as much as possible this summer.
