If any Manchester United fans were sat wondering today how Facundo Pellistri is getting on at Granada, then fear not, IDEAL have got the matter in hand.

They cover the player today and how his loan deal at Granada is going far better than his last one at Alaves, even if he still hasn’t won a game with the Spanish side.

They explain that Pellistri, who joined Granada at the end of the January transfer window, had already had an experience in Spain with Alaves, spending a year and a half with them from January 2021 to June 2022.

It proved to be an ‘unfortunate step’ for him in his young career, though, as he was relegated in the full season he spent there and ‘never enjoyed the continuity he craved’.

He only appeared in ‘dribs and drabs’ thanks to injuries and a lack of form and ultimately it was a complete failure for all involved.

Pellistri ‘will not be able to complain’ about a lack of continuity at Granada, having started seven of the eight games since he arrived and found himself supported by compatriot Alexander Medina, who has shown him complete faith and only withdrawn him from games when he’s been injured.

He’s been mostly rewarded for that faith, with a goal and two assists in eight games in La Liga so far seen as a good return from the Manchester United man.

Indeed, he’s already done more than he managed at Alaves, where he didn’t score or assist in 35 games over his year and a half with them.

What he’s not yet enjoyed is a win, with three draws in his first three games and five straight defeats since, including three back-to-back 1-0 losses.

That’s a major negative but all in all things appear to be going much better than the Manchester United man’s last spell, which was pretty much a disaster.
