Just yesterday, we saw reports from the French media talking about Manchester United’s interest in Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.
It was claimed that the Red Devils are ‘particularly hot’ on the trail of the 22-year-old, despite the competition from Real Madrid for the signing.
Now it’s time for the Spanish press to talk about this chase, with Marca bringing a few more details about it.
It’s pointed out that Real Madrid are indeed interested in signing Tchouameni, as they see him as an alternative for Casemiro, but are still to actually start working on his signing.
Manchester United, however, seem to have made a first move already, as Marca claim the Red Devils ‘have asked’ about the player, who doesn’t see the option of a move to Old Trafford as a bad one.
In fact, the 22-year-old is said to be looking for a transfer to the Premier League going forward.
Previous reports claimed Tchouameni should move this summer for a fee of up to €60m, and besides Real Madrid, the Old Trafford side could also face the competition from Liverpool and Juventus.
