On November 1st, we covered claims from the Turkish press that Manchester United are keen on Sacha Boey. It was also said he’s expected to leave Galatasaray next summer, if a deal isn’t agreed for his exit in January.

The right-back’s current deal runs until 2025 and the Turkish champions have been working to tie him down to a new contract.

RMC Sport mention Manchester United when discussing the defender’s contract situation.

The 23-year-old has received an offer from the Istanbul club to renew his deal. Although the details aren’t mentioned, the report says the two parties haven’t found an agreement and that ‘things are stuck at the moment’.

This could please Manchester United as RMC Sport say they have ‘made enquiries’, without making it clear if the Red Devils made contact with his camp, Galatasaray or both.

Over in Turkey, Fotomaç say Erik ten Hag’s side have ‘stepped in’ to sign the fullback, and are preparing to knock on Galatasaray’s door for him.

It’s claimed the Frenchman could change clubs for an ‘astronomical fee’ after this season, and Galatasaray plan to earn at least €25m from his sale.

Along with Manchester United, Arsenal, AC Milan and Marseille are all in the mix for Boey. He’s managed a goal from 20 appearances this season.
