Valencia need to raise funds through the sale of few of their players this summer and Geoffrey Kondogbia could be one of the casualties.

This is according to Foot Mercato, who explain the ‘box-to-box’ midfielder ‘wants to leave’ the La Liga side and ‘dreams of England’.

Luckily for him, he’s attracting interest from the Premier League, particularly from Manchester United.

The 27-year-old has two more years left on his contract at the Mestalla, and the report states the Spanish side have not yet put a price tag on the player.

If the Red Devils want to acquire the former Sevilla man’s services, they wouldn’t have to fight hard because Valencia are pushing him towards the exit. This gives an indication Valencia will not put ‘too many obstacles’ in the way of Kondogbia’s sale.

Foot Mercato only mention Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are ‘interested’ in the midfielder, and even though the latter remains keen on moving to England, there isn’t anything concrete to indicate Old Trafford would be his next destination.

Apart from United, Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in Kondogbia, who has two goals and an assist in 34 matches in all competitions for Valencia.
