There’s been a lot of noise about Manchester United and Moises Caicedo in the past few days, as reports regarding the chase started emerging.

The player’s wish to join the Red Devils had been claimed in early December, in an interview which Sport Witness covered at the time.

Now it seems that the South American media has been joining the bandwagon as well. It started with Ecuadorian journalist Marco Lopez Castillo making a list of clubs who are interested in the player, and including the Old Trafford club.

And this morning, Argentine outlet TyC Sports is the one highlighting the interest, saying he’s part of Manchester United’s new strategy to sign youngsters.

They point out that Boca Juniors had also been following the player’s success at Independiente Del Valle, and had him as a target.

But the La Bombonera side don’t seem that interested any more, as TyC’s title says ‘from wanted by Boca to Manchester United’, as if the Buenos Aires club couldn’t compete with the Red Devils for the signing.
