Manchester United are one of the many clubs who have been linked to FC Porto winger Luis Diaz in the past few months. And with the Red Devils constantly scouting matches in Portugal, it’s inevitable that the rumours carry on.

This week we see newspaper Record bringing a short story saying the Old Trafford side once again had an official watching a Liga Bwin match.

This time they saw the Dragons beat SC Braga 1-0.

Luis Diaz scored the winner, so the outlet had to mention the rumours involving Manchester United. They say he’s previously been linked to the Red Devils and now the club ‘certainly took notes’ of his performance.

The Colombian was picked by the local media as the man of the match, and now has 13 goals scored for Porto this season.

Diaz is protected by a €80m release clause, and Porto are not expected to let him go in January unless someone pays that much. It should be a different conversation in the summer, when several clubs are expected to come for his signing.

The Dragons counted on other good performances in their win, as the likes of João Mário, Chancel Mbemba, Matheus Uribe, Vitinha, Fabio Cardoso and Zaidu all helped achieve victory in the derby. But with Diaz shining once again, he gets all the spotlight one more time.
