Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick may not have made his debut for their first team yet, but many European clubs, including Manchester United, continue to be linked to him.
The teenager reportedly agreed to his first professional contract with the Brazilian club, and that will be made official in July, when he turns 16, which is when he’s set to be used by manager Abel Ferreira.
Today, journalist Jorge Nicola shares an update on Endrick’s situation, claiming that Paris Saint-Germain are now the latest club to join the race for him.
He claims PSG now join the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United, as the Red Devils are a club who ‘want’ the player.
It’s said Endrick’s contract will have, in its first year, a release clause worth €40m.
This then goes up to €50m and €60m, and since Palmeiras only own 70% of the economical rights, they’re unlikely to make any discounts for his sale.
“This also helps to explain the hurry from Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG and Manchester United,” Nicola says.
Manchester United are one of the clubs who’ve been linked to Endrick for a few months, and the Red Devils probably know the sooner they can land him, the better, since his appearances for the first team will certainly attract more competition for his signing.
