FC Andorra are looking to take Manchester United’s Hannibal Mejbri on a loan deal before the transfer window closes.
That’s according to L’Equipe, who state that West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham City are also in the mix for the 19-year-old.
Despite interest from the two Championship sides, it is the Segunda División club that ‘pushes the most’ to take the midfielder.
The club owned by Barcelona star Gerard Piqué was promoted to the second division of the Spanish football this year. Their ambitious owner is looking for a new player in the middle of the pitch, and Andorra have proposed Manchester United a deal to take the Tunisia international.
It’s claimed the Spanish club offered to take the teenager on a loan deal with a purchase option set at €25m. This would be converted into an obligation if they are promoted to La Liga.
Despite Andorra’s approach, the report states Manchester United would lean more towards sending him on loan to the Championship, where West Brom and Birmingham are showing interest in Mejbri.
