Edinson Cavani is set to play for PSG for the first time since August.
The Uruguayan has been out with injury and will return for the French champions against Nice. L’Equipe report he hasn’t used his time out of action to push for a new contract, despite his current one expiring at the end of June.
Cavani wants to stay in Paris, but sports director Leonardo has so far made no moves on an extension, although it’s something which has been discussed at the club. This gives opportunities for other interested parties, with Manchester United getting a mention.
The French newspaper reports Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Napoli and Manchester United are all following the player’s situation ‘with attention’, ahead of what would be a potential free transfer next summer.
That may be something Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are unable to offer.
