Gelson Bremer’s impressive performances for Torino this season has resulted in clubs in Italy and across Europe taking notice of him.
From abroad, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Manchester United are said to be in the picture to sign the defender. Last October, reports from the Italian media stated the Red Devils are keeping tabs on the 24-year-old’s ‘evolution’ with the Serie A side.
On February 23rd, FcInterNews stated the Old Trafford club’s chief scout was set to arrive in Italy to watch the centre-back in action for Torino.
Regarding the Manchester club, it’s explained they ‘have expressed an interest’ in Bremer, so made contact. That’s about the only information mentioned about Manchester United, while Tutto Juve do point out the north London club could make an offer to both the player and his employer.
Bremer signed a new deal at Torino last month and his new deal will run down in 2024. That, however, would not stop him from changing clubs in the summer.
