France Football have a transfer special ahead of the January transfer window, so brace yourselves for a lot of claims.

We’ll start the ball rolling with a nice casual one that should get Manchester United fans very excited: Tanguy Ndombele.

The Lyon midfielder is widely seen as one of the most promising at his position in Ligue 1 (and maybe even Europe), and the French club were already swatting away €50m offers from Manchester City last summer.

Continuing in his stride, the 21-year-old could leave in the near future for a bigger club for a hefty fee, and France Football believe it isn’t Pep Guardiola’s side who are the keenest, but their rivals from across the city: The Red Devils.

However, the current situation in the Premier League could be a stumbling block in the negotiations, as could the cloud of uncertainty hovering over José Mourinho’s head regarding the manager’s future.

Jean-Michel Aulas recent revealed clubs might need to spend a similar amount to what Manchester United spent on Paul Pogba to convince him to sell his starlet.
