On November 1st, Sporx explained that Manchester United are ‘very keen’ on signing Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey.
Later that month, RMC Sport stated the Red Devils have made enquiries about the right-back.
Fast forward to December and Fanatik now has a report on Manchester United’s interest in the 23-year-old.
The Frenchman has been a regular for the Istanbul club this season as he has scored two goals from 27 appearances, which includes two starts against Manchester United in the Champions League.
His displays have attracted the attention of European clubs and the report names Erik ten Hag’s side and Marseille. It’s claimed these two teams ‘are in contact’ with the player.
The Turkish champions are in the process of negotiating contract renewals of some of their players while are also taking precautions over the possibility of losing a few of their key players next month.
Galatasaray’s management and their technical staff had a meeting, where a decision was made to retain the Manchester United target.
Fanatik state the Turkish champions are not against selling their stars for a ‘high price’ but that won’t be the case with Boey in January. They add a ‘message was sent’ to the player that he won’t be leaving until the end of this season.
The outlet adds Galatasaray will evaluate offers for the fullback next summer.
