Ecuadorian website Ecuagol today brings a list of clubs who’ve been interested in the Watford left-back Pervis Estupiñán.
Currently loaned by the Hornets, the 22-year-old is having a spell at Spanish side Osasuna, which is set to run until 2021.
But his good displays in La Liga have reportedly drawn interest from Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona as well.
Regarding the Red Devils, it’s claimed the club joined the race for Estupiñán about a month ago, and had been thinking about offering €7m for his signing.
Manchester United’s idea is to buy him now and loan him out to another English side, as they wait for him to develop.
The Spanish press has already said Osasuna would like the player to fulfil his loan spell until the summer of 2021. Now Ecuvisa says the La Liga side would try to convince him to stay for at least six more months.
But it’s Watford who should have a final decision on his future, and Manchester United could certainly convince them by making a good offer.
