Spanish side Valencia are ‘convinced’ they will succeed in landing Andreas Pereira from Manchester United on a loan deal, Superdeporte reports.

The club are said to be planning to sign Gonçalo Guedes from Paris Saint Germain and Pereira from Manchester United to be their wingers, and believe they can complete both deals before Thursday.

Regarding Pereira, Superdeporte claims José Mourinho has given the green light for the transfer, and the player himself also wants the move. Now it’s all about Manchester United letting him go, which is close to happening.

José Mourinho is still to give Pereira playing time this season, despite having used the midfielder in various roles during preseason.

Valencia are now expected to act with ‘maximum itensity’ as they only have three more days to get the deals done, and such additions to the squad should make quite a difference for the team they will play this season.
