Manchester United’s reported interest in the Napoli midfielder Jorginho has reached that stage where it doesn’t matter if there’s news about it or not, the rumour will always get a mention.

La Reppublica analyses the situation of Napoli’s squad, as there are several players expected to come and go due to the club’s great form this season.

The club expect some midfield changes for the next year. As they eye the signing of Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria, two of their players are being linked to English sides: Amadou Diawara to Tottenham Hotspur, and obviously, Jorginho to Manchester United.

Regarding the Brazil born midfielder, La Reppublica claims Napoli’s intention would be to hold him for the next season, but that’s not something they can guarantee.

In case the player gets an ‘indecent’ offer, there’s no way he can say no, making the departure inevitable.

Even though the outlet only names Manchester United as a potential destination, they make sure to say there are other big clubs after him. So there’s probably an auction coming for José Mourinho’s side to get the player this summer.
