Khéphren Thuram is again being linked to Manchester United, this time in a report from the Italian media.

TuttoMercatoWeb now writes that the Red Devils have placed the 22-year-old in their ‘list of targets’ and could go for his signing in the next summer window.

The Italian press obviously gives some attention to the interest from Serie A clubs, and the report makes it sound like there’d be no big competition, as Manchester United ‘could easily surpass’ those competitors.

It’s said that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is ‘more inclined than ever’ to making a big investment in signings, and Thuram would be one of the names.

According to the report, the midfielder’s price starts at €40m, although that should depend on the clubs who will be interested in him.

Inter Milan and Juventus would like to bring Thuram to Serie A, and it remains to be seen whether they’d actually try to compete in that auction.

Next summer promises to be very busy for Manchester United, and Thuram may be one of the many names on their agenda.
