Manchester United and Newcastle United have entered the race for Randal Kolo Muani, who is yet to secure a return to Juventus.

That’s according to Foot Mercato, who report that Manchester United and Newcastle are ‘on the lookout’ for the striker this summer.

They explain that the Premier League duo are keeping an eye on the situation around the PSG striker, hoping for any slightest opportunity to secure his services. They have even initiated contact about a potential move.

Interest in the striker has been revived after a successful loan spell at Juventus last season. Everyone at the Italian club was delighted with that and they would like to sign him on a permanent basis this summer if they can.

They’re doing everything they can on that front and to convince him of the Turin project, but they know that they face competition.

Kolo Muani is in the sights of some of the biggest clubs in Europe and Premier League ‘heavyweights’ Manchester United and Newcastle are among them.

In fact, according to FM’s sources, they have identified the French striker as a priority target as they both seek a number nine this summer. Both have been pushed into targeting him after missing out on Hugo Ekitike.

The Magpies are also facing a potential loss of Alexander Isak, who is being linked with a move to Saudi Arabia. Anticipating this, they’ve made contact with Kolo Muani.

They, Manchester United are expected to go on the offensive in the coming days, with a fight developing after that successful loan spell at Juventus last season.
