Manchester United finally have a deal for the transfer of Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio writes on Twitter that the agreement is ‘done’ between the clubs.

It’s claimed that Manchester United are paying Fiorentina €10m for the loan deal. They’ll then have the right to buy him for €20m, plus €5m in performance bonuses.

The deal is also confirmed by Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, also saying there’s an agreement for a loan with an option to buy.

This has been one of the longest sagas of the summer, as Manchester United waited until the very final day of the window to place their bid.

Since the likes of Atletico Madrid and Liverpool had also been said to be interested in him, the Red Devils probably got lucky that the competition didn’t make such strong moves.

Amrabat had been told by Fiorentina he’d be able to leave the club this summer, and that’s why the Serie A side had just been waiting for the offers to let him go.

As reported by the Italian media today, the midfielder already went through medicals in Italy.
