It seems we better get used to stories claiming Manchester City are keen on signing Francesco Camarda from AC Milan.
Last week, reports had already claimed that Pep Guardiola’s side are ‘convinced’ by the 15-year-old’s recent performances in the Rossoneri’s youth team.
Now as Calcio Mercato features a story to cover about Camarda’s latest hat-trick, they speak a little about his future, and Manchester City get a mention.
It’s claimed that the youngster is in the ‘spotlights’ of the treble winners, as well as attracting interest from Borrusia Dortmund, with the two clubs ‘waiting’ to be able to make a move for him.
Camarda’s age gives the interested clubs the need to be cautious, as Milan may complain about the way they take a youngster out of their academy.
The Rossoneri are waiting for March, when the player turns 16, to offer him a three-year professional contract and feel more protected about his situation.
Manchester City, meanwhile, shall keep watching and could soon get to draw a plan to try to attract him to the Premier League.
They would have to send him elsewhere in the City Football Group, though, as he wouldn’t be able to play in the UK until he’s 18.
