Manchester City face Inter Milan in the Champions League at the Etihad tomorrow.
TuttoMercatoWeb state Simone Inzaghi has concerns involving Federico Dimarco and Lautaro Martínez for this fixture.
The 26-year-old Italy international ‘worries Inter’ as he’s set to miss the clash due to a thigh injury.
Inzaghi will make a final decision on the left wing-back’s involvement against Manchester City, after today’s training session before the trip to England.
TMW insist it’ll be ‘very difficult’ for Dimarco to face Manchester City even if he were to make progress in his recovery. They add he’ll miss at least the tie against Manchester City, and Carlos Augusto or Matteo Darmian is expected to take his place on the left side.
Dimarco has played four matches this season and his absence against Manchester City would be a blow for Inter.
Meanwhile, Martínez is fit and is available for selection. TMW question whether his dip in form is a ‘problem’ for the Nerazzurri.
The 27-year-old striker has scored one goal for Inter since the end of February. That came in their 5-0 win over Frosinone in May.
Martínez’s poor form for the club and Dimarco’s injury setback are two concerns for Inter ahead of their clash against Manchester City.
