It seems Elaquim Mangala will not leave Inter Milan’s wishlist for the winter transfer window.
Having his name frequently mentioned by the Italian newspapers, the Manchester City defender is rememberd once again today, this time by Tuttosport.
The outlet has a story claiming Inter Milan won’t look for permanent deals in the winter, as they will only try to bring players on loan.
Mangala is one of them, and actually the only defender on a wish-list which includes Ramires, Arturo Vidal and Javier Pastore.
With only three appearances for Manchester City this season, two of them in the League Cup, Mangala is far from conquering a place in Pep Guardiola’s team, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him looking for a new destination.
But despite being the fourth option for the central defence, it must be considered that Vincent Kompany is often injured, so in case John Stones or Nicolas Otamendi need to be left out, Manchester City would start to run out of options.
That should be Pep’s call to make.
