Pep Guardiola reportedly wants to sign a goalkeeper this summer, and Manchester City have been strongly linked to both Barcelona goalkeepers Marc-Andre ter Stegen, and Claudio Bravo.
A deal for Ter Stegen looks unlikely, as Barcelona want to keep hold of the German goalkeeper, and seem him as their long term No. 1.
Manchester City, however, could sign Bravo and he is expected them to cost much less than Ter Stegen would.
According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Barcelona want to keep both the goalkeepers at the club, but know it’ll be difficult to give them both enough playing time.
Sport say the Catalan giants want to keep Ter Stegen, but the stance on Bravo is softer. The Chilean goalkeeper is currently on his holidays, and a decision is expected once he returns.
Manchester City are interested in Bravo, but Barcelona want the player to step forward and ask to leave the club. Sport believe Bravo could cost Manchester City €20m, and it remains to be seen if the Premier League side will consider signing him this summer.
This has all been previously claimed in Spain, and it may well be that the Catalan press are doing some advertising for Barcelona. It would appear Bravo is available, and the price is €20m.
