Despite the player claiming Manchester City know what he wants, Bernardo Silva hasn’t made his mind up about his future.
That’s what AS are reporting on Monday, claiming he ‘hasn’t made a decision yet’, especially since there is also ‘no formal offer’ from Barcelona to date.
The player is reportedly valued at around €100m by Manchester City, with it believed these economic conditions will ‘harden as the market progresses’.
Basically, ‘with every day that Barcelona go by without launching a proposal for the midfielder, the more his price will rise’.
That’s because Pep Guardiola’s side would want to give themselves time to replace the Portuguese as well, and if they can’t, they might as well make as much money as possible.
That being said, ‘at the Etihad, they are clear they will not force anyone to stay against their will’, meaning that if Barcelona make the right offer for the Manchester City player, ‘they will accept the departure’.
Unfortunately for the La Liga side, ‘Bernardo Silva has not yet communicated his position’, leaving everyone in limbo for the time being.
