Athletico Paranaense are reportedly the latest club to be interested in Manchester City winger Marlos Moreno.
Local outlet Bem Paraná brings a report today saying the club are ‘studying’ the possibility of signing the player, although his monthly wages of R$300k (£63k) would be a problem.
This news come right after Globo Esporte had a story at the weekend saying Manchester City would like to keep the player in Brazil.
The club reportedly believe he wouldn’t have room in Pep Guardiola’s squad, and as he needs to play, Brazil would be the best option.
Moreno spent 2018 playing for Flamengo, and although he didn’t impress much, Manchester City believe he had good development during the season, according to Globo Esporte.
The website claimed that Santos were interested in the signing, and now with Athletico joining the race, it seems City would have no problems in finding a club who want the player.
Turkish sides had also been keen, but the Premier League club prefer the player to remain in Brazil.
