As well as trying to catch up with Arsenal this season, Manchester City are planning for the future as always.

They have a knack of finding talent in Eastern Europe, having signed the likes of Ivan Ilic and Filip Stevanovic in Serbia, and are also keeping an eye on young players in Croatia, if L’Equipe are to be believed.

In fact, Manchester City have made their first bid to try and sign Hajduk Split’s latest starlet: Luka Vuskovic.

The French newspaper are aware of this due to Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in the player, which they report on Thursday, as the Ligue 1 side are keen to buy the centre-back to loan him back to his current club until he reaches 17 years of age.

However, Manchester City have also spotted him, and have ‘already made an offer of €12m, bonuses included’, to acquire his services.

This is seen as the ‘reference price’ in the current talks between Paris Saint-Germain and the Croatian side, while German clubs are also very interested in the youngster, who is the brother of Hamburger SV’s Mario Vuskovic.
