Galatasaray are interested in signing Manchester City forward Wilfried Bony, claim Fanatik. The Turkish newspaper report CimBom are ready to offer Bony an escape route, and are preparing for talks with Manchester City.

Bony’s career has stalled since he signed for Manchester City from Swansea, and his loan spell with Stoke City hasn’t gone to plan. Galatasaray have already sold Lukas Podolski to Japanese side Vissel Kobe, and subsequently the Turkish club only have Eren Derdiyok as a recognised striker.

Signing a striker is a priority for manager Igor Tudor, and he’s identified Bony as a potential target. The 28-year old has no future under Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, and the Ivorian is looking for a club which can give him more playing time.

Galatasaray believe Bony’s qualities are well suited to the Turkish League, and they are hoping to sign the player as soon as possible.

The Galatasaray board are expected to begin formal talks with Manchester City and are hoping to get a deal done before preseason training starts.
