Manchester City are still interested in the Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, according to reports from Italy.

The club’s chase for the 25-year-old has been reported for a few months, and now DailyNews24 says the English club would be prepared to offer €50m for him.

However, Juventus don’t want to let the Brazilian go. Alex Sandro is doing well at the club, and after they’ve sold Paul Pogba to Manchester United, the Italian side have no need of money.

The only possibility would be if the transfer meant a huge profit, since Juve paid only €26m for the player from Porto last summer. But in any case, the chance would only be considered at the end of the season.

DailyNews24 isn’t one of the biggest websites in Italy, so it’s hard to say how far this story will go. But the claim is already being spread by better known outlets such as Calcio Mercato.
