Manchester City are one of the clubs chasing AC Milan youngster Francesco Camarda, according to multiple reports from Italy.
The 15-year-old made history when he became the youngest player to ever make a Serie A debut, against Fiorentina at the weekend.
Prior to that, a few top clubs have been keeping an eye on him and Manchester City are included in this list, according to Tuttosport.
The Rossoneri cannot tie him up to a professional contract until he turns 16 years of age next March.
It’s now the Italian club’s job not just to protect the young forward from the media but also from foreign clubs, who are ‘ready to offer important contracts’ to his entourage.
Manchester City are named, along with Arsenal, Newcastle and Borussia Dortmund, as these clubs have shown interest in the teenager.
Milan face ‘risk’ of losing the new young star and in order to ‘repel’ the likes of Manchester City and others, Tuttosport state they have started contacts with his agent Giuseppe Riso, to secure his future.
Over at Calciomercato.it, they state Manchester City ‘seriously tried’ for Camarda in the past and haven’t yet stopped following him. Along with Pep Guardiola’s side, there are other clubs ‘ready to snatch’ him from Milan.
Stefano Pioli’s side have been in talks with his entourage for some time and the website states the two parties have an excellent relationship.
Therefore, it’s unlikely for Camarda to leave, even though he’s on the agenda of Manchester City and other clubs.
