On Monday, we covered reports from Brazil which said Manchester City would hold a meeting with São Paulo for the transfers of Nahuel Ferraresi and Nahuel Bustos.
With the Tricolor interested in signing the two players, journalist André Hernan claimed there was still some work to do for the defender, while a deal for the striker was a little closer.
The update now comes from Argentine reporter César Luis Merlo, who claims that at least one of the transfers is agreed.
According to his first report, there’s a ‘total agreement’ for Bustos. São Paulo are signing him from Manchester City on a one-year loan, and will then have an option to buy. The striker is set to travel to Brazil for his medical this week.
Regarding Ferraresi, it’s claimed that the defender already has the ‘formal offer’ from São Paulo, but hasn’t accepted it yet.
The story claims there are other possibilities for him in Europe, so his case gets a little more complex. It’s said that he and Manchester City should sort out his next destination ‘in the coming days’.
