Manchester City are again considering loaning out defender Jason Denayer again next season, according to claims in the Belgian media. The youngster has spent this season on loan with Sunderland.

DH.be have reported Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will allow Denayer to spend another season out on loan in order to get first team experience. The Belgium international will return to Manchester City from Sunderland in the summer, but with the defensive options Guardiola has it’s unlikely Denayer would get much playing time in the next campaign.

Denayer still has a future at the Etihad and Guardiola has been monitoring the player’s progression at Sunderland this season, report DH. However, the Manchester City boss feels the 21-year-old can gain more by going out on loan, in the same way his national teammate Thibaut Courtois did with Atletico Madrid.

The idea is to put Denayer in an ‘incubator’ at another club. A Premier League move is the preference, but there’s interest from around Europe.
