Claudio Bravo often has a reason to be miserable during international breaks.
The Manchester City goalkeeper is routinely prickly with the Chilean media, seemingly taking out on them all the frustrations he’s reluctant to take out on the English media.
During this break, Manchester City’s second choice has another reason to be annoyed.
Catalan newspaper Sport report that Bravo has lost out on a court case dating back from his transfer from Real Sociedad to Barcelona, which was completed in the summer 2014 transfer window.
Bravo believed he was owed €1.3m as his cut from the transfer, and Real Sociedad believed he’d given this up as part of his contract with Barcelona.
Now, more than three years later, there’s been a court decision… and the Manchester City goalkeeper has lost out. Bravo won’t be getting his 10%, and Real Sociedad will be relieved they’ve not got to pay the money.
The Chilean press should be on warning, they’re likely to receive it in the neck at some point over the next week or so.
