Leroy Sane was one of the star players for Manchester City in their title winning campaign last season, scoring 10 goals and registering 15 assists and was also voted Premier League Young Player of the Year for the 2017/18 season.
Things have not gone well for him this term and he’s played for only 30 minutes across three games.
Pep Guardiola dropped the 22-year-old for the clash against Newcastle United and reports in England suggested it was due to the player’s poor attitude in training, although Pep denied there’s an issue.
Even after failing to impress this season, the former Schalke man is included in Joachim Löw’s squad for the two international fixtures against France and Peru.
Bild has a story talking about each player’s form for the Uefa Nations League opener against the world champions. They have given percentage to each player to show they’re strength right now.
Sane’s situation with the English champions hasn’t helped him at all as the German publication claims he is operating and 15%, the worst of the whole squad. Bild believe the Manchester City player is in ‘full crisis’ right now, and the perception in Germany has changed.
Before and during the World Cup, it was thought that Löw should have picked Sane, and repeated constantly that the youngster is the future of the national team.
