Omar Marmoush will complete his Manchester City medical today before being announced on Thursday.

That’s according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who reports that Marmoush will sign his contract as a Manchester City player at some point today also.

The Eintracht Frankfurt striker is in Manchester for his medical with Manchester City today. He will then sign a contract at the Etihad until 2030. The deal is then planned to be announced on Thursday.

Plettenberg reiterates that Manchester City have agreed to pay a guaranteed sum of €75m for the Egyptian. This includes €5m in potential bonuses.

Marmoush, for his part, will earn approximately €16-17m a year at the Etihad. This will be around €10m net annually after taxes.

Manchester City have not held back in their approach for the striker, moving quicky to wrap him up amid their big January spend on the squad.

He will be the third arrival to date, following Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis. The latter was announced as a new Manchester City player earlier today.

The deal for Marmoush is now in the final stages, with a medical today followed by him signing his contract before being announced on Thursday.
