Spanish outlet Sport brings an update on Real Madrid’s quest for new attackers, claiming that in case Florentino Perez succeeds with his plans, new Galacticos are about to come.
It’s claimed the La Liga giants have now ‘accelerated’ talks for the signing of Erling Haaland, and are now confident of his arrival.
There’s of course a huge competition for the Borussia Dortmund star, with Sport mentioning that Barcelona and Manchester City are also interested in him.
The report, however, claims that Real Madrid believe they have the ‘ok’ from Haaland, since he’d ‘prioritise’ the move to La Liga and the big offer they’ve made.
Sport says Barça and Manchester City made ‘movements’ to land Haaland, and that’s one of the reasons why Real Madrid rushed for the talks ‘with all their arsenal’.
It’s said the striker should tell Borussia Dortmund his wish to go in the coming weeks, and then he’ll decide who to play for.
The story doesn’t bring any details on how much the Santiago Bernabeu side would offer to beat the competition from their La Liga rivals and Manchester City.
