Marca have a claim in their Christmas Eve edition that Nabil Fekir has been offered to Real Madrid.

The Lyon player almost moved to Liverpool in the summer transfer window but the transfer failed after disagreements over a medical and alleged price arguments.

Since then the Frenchman has been mainly linked to Chelsea, when it comes to Premier League clubs, yet the Spanish newspaper don’t mention the Stamford Bridge side and instead say both Manchester City and PSG are ‘on the lookout’ for the transfer.

It’s worth noting that PSG interest isn’t really being pushed in France, so it could be that Marca don’t quite have an inside line here.

Alternatively, whoever has offered Fekir to Madrid may well be talking up competition from the English and French champions.

Lyon are said to be nervous about the player, whose contract ends in June 2020, potentially not renewing, and that could be why a transfer would be actively looked for.

For Manchester City it doesn’t seem like a priority track so would therefore be surprising.
