Marlos Moreno’s loan deal with Flamengo runs until the last day of 2018. But he’s leaving the Brazilian club in a few days, as the league ends next weekend.

Now for anyone who’s asking if the Brazilian side will try to keep the player on a permanent deal, or at least extend his loan until the summer, the answer is simple: no.

Fansite Coluna do Flamengo has a story saying the club are currently negotiating the arrival of Pedro Rocha from Spartak Moscow. He would arrive at the club exactly to replace Moreno or Geuvanio, who’s also on a loan spell.

Coluna do Flamengo writes that both players should leave the club at the end of the Brazilian season and ‘wont be missed’ by the black and red fans.

Marlos Moreno has played 30 games for Flamengo in his spell, and scored only one goal. At least that was enough to end his two-year drought.

Manchester City have struggled to find the right solution for Moreno since he joined them, and they again have to work out what to do with the 22 year old.
