Manchester City and Liverpool are two of the clubs who are interested in the signing of Palmeiras youngster Luis Guilherme, according to reports from Brazil.

Journalist Jorge Nicola says on YouTube that several European sides have been ‘analysing’ the player since last season, even though they haven’t made bids so far.

Those clubs, including Manchester City and Liverpool, have been in touch with the agency which takes care of the youngster’s career, claiming they’ll follow him in the coming years.

Luis Guilherme is only 16-years-old and has been drawing attention both for club and country.

For Palmeiras, he won the biggest U-20 tournament in Brazil in January this year, and for the national team, he was Champions of the Montaigu Tournament this week.

The teenager is still negotiating his first professional contract with Palmeiras, so his situation for a potential transfer is quite unclear yet.

That’s why Manchester City and Liverpool are likely to be just monitoring him for a potential transfer in the coming years.

It’s worth mentioning that both clubs were recently linked to Endrick, who’s Luis Guilherme’s teammate both at club and country, having won the same recent titles.
