Despite being heavily linked to Éder Militão in the past few months, it seems that Manchester City are now left behind in the race for the player.

As reported by UOL today, Paris Saint Germain have recently contacted the right-back’s entourage and told them they will make an offer to take him to Europe in the summer.

By doing this, PSG are getting ready to beat the competition from Porto, who have recently held talks with the player’s staff as well.

Éder Militão’s contract with São Paulo is expiring in January, which makes him free to sign a pre-contract with any club in July. His club São Paulo expects the Europeans to present a bid instead of just signing him for free.

Regarding Manchester City, what UOL has to say is that the club have shown interest and ‘discussed internally’ whether to advance for the signing or not. The idea would be to sign the player and loan him to another club, just like they did with Douglas Luiz a year ago.
