Rapid Wien’s Yusuf Demir is on their radar of Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund and other European giants.
That’s according to Bild, who focus on the Bundesliga side’s interest in the 17-year-old in their report. After spending several years in the lower categories, the forward was promoted to Rapid Wien’s first team in 2019.
He’s scored six goals and registered two assists in 24 appearances in all competitions this season.
According to the report, Dortmund are ‘playing poker’ for the ‘super talent’, but they will have to battle with top clubs.
Austrian website Weltfussball also brings an update on the teenager, who has started only five matches this season.
It’s claimed the player’s environment are ‘increasingly dissatisfied’ with limited starts. On this topic, Rapid sporting director Zoran Barišić said: “We presented Yusi with a clear career plan at the time and we are right on target.”
When discussing his future, the outlet states Demir will be at a ‘crossroads’ in a few months.
Weltfussball are of the belief that ‘anything other than saying goodbye’ to Rapid Wien in the summer would be ‘surprising’. This indicates a summer move is on the cards for Demir.
