Lille’s Nicolas Pepe has been one of the standout players in Ligue 1 this season.
The 23-year-old’s fine form has seen him attract interest from top clubs across the continent and the French club’s president Gerard Lopez has already confirmed there has been interest in the forward from England, who is valued between €50m and €80m.
Sport Bild in Germany talks about Bayern Munich’s interest in the player and when discussing competition for the Bundesliga winners, they mention several other clubs including Manchester City.
It is claimed that Pep Guardiola’s side are ‘interested’ in the Ivory Coast international, whose contract with his current employer will run down in 2022.
There is no suggestion whether the English champions will convert their interest into an offer for the attacker.
Pepe has scored 16 goals and registered eight assists in 27 league appearances this season and Sport Bild says he is ‘one of the top performers’ for Lille this season.
The report also mentions Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea as the other clubs interested in the star.
