Manchester City are reportedly one of the clubs who have been keeping an eye on Red Bull Salzburg youngster Luka Reischl.
It’s Italian outlet Calcio Mercato who brings the information today, saying the teenager is being followed both by the Premier League side and by Juventus.
They bring some statistics from the striker, who’s scored 16 goals in 10 games this season. The ‘goal machine’, as they call him, is currently playing U16 level at Salzburg.
Although Calcio Mercato’s story is mostly focused on Juventus, they claim that Manchester City’s interest in the wonderkid is ‘very strong’.
Reisch was born in 2004, and already has some appearances for Austria’s youth levels, with recent caps for the U15 and U16 selections.
There aren’t many details on how much would Juventus or Manchester City have to spend to take him from Austria, but when European giants get involved in this kind of auction, these kids normally turn pretty expensive.
