Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus is preparing his departure from the club, according to reports from the South American media.

Outlet Lance today writes that following the Cityzens’ chase for Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, they should negotiate the Brazilian in the summer.

It’s claimed that Gabriel Jesus’ staff are already in talks with other clubs who are interested in him. The player is said to be looking to be a protagonist at a new project and have more minutes on the pitch.

According to Lance, Pep Guardiola had blocked any negotiations for the Manchester City striker in the past few transfer windows.

Now, however, the club seem to be ready to let him go in case an interesting proposal arrives.

The report doesn’t mention any clubs who are in talks for the player for now, only recalling the past links he had with Juventus.

They also make it clear that Manchester City haven’t engaged in any negotiations with interested sides so far.

Gabriel Jesus has seven goals and 11 assists in 33 appearances for the Premier League side this season. His contract with the club expires in 2023.
