Turkish newspaper Fotomac claim Manchester City loanee Jason Denayer has been left devastated following his injury against Sivasspor last weekend.
The Belgian defender is upset about his situation, after impressing for Galatasaray in recent weeks under Fatih Terim.
Yesterday, Galatasaray’s medical team confirmed the player was diagnosed with a high level tear on his left upper back muscle group, which will sideline him for up to two months.
With the World Cup in Russia on the horizon, the Manchester City owned defender was hoping he could secure an important role with Belgium by impressing for Galatasaray, but after the good run of form, the injury is a huge blow to the player
Manchester City could also have their concerns as it means Denayer is not in the shop window if they decide to sell him this summer.
The 22-year old rejoined the Turkish giants from Manchester City in the summer and has played 16 Turkish Super Lig games this season.
