Manchester City midfielder James Horsfield has joined NAC Breda on loan for the rest of the season. The Premier League side already have four players on loan with the Dutch side.
Voetbal International have confirmed Horsfield will join Breda and be reunited with his Manchester City teammates Ashley Smith-Brown, Brandon Barker, Thomas Agyepong and Manu Garcia. The 21-year-old has recently been involved with Breda’s winter training camp during which he impressed their coach Stijn Vreven.
Breda have released a statement to say they are happy the Manchester City youngster will be part of their squad for the next six months.
Last April it was confirmed NAC Breda and Manchester City had a formed a partnership, which would allow the Premier League club to send players on loan to the Dutch side. The deal will be for a period of five years, and the agreement gives a more formal basis to the relationship.
Manchester City also collaborate with Breda and share knowledge on matters such as scouting, creating a culture of mutual expertise.
