Turkish newspaper Sozcu claim Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is keen to sign Leicester City’s Caglar Söyüncü, with transfer talks between the two sides set to commence in the near future.
The Turkey international has been an important member of Brendan Rodgers’ team this season, forming a solid partnership with Jonny Evans.
Sozcu report Guardiola will be looking to strengthen his defence in this summer transfer window and Söyüncü is his first target.
The former Altinordu defender cost Leicester €21m when he arrived from Bundesliga club Freiburg in 2018.
He struggled in his first season with Leicester City but has been in impressive form in this campaign.
The 24 year old has made 41 appearances for the Foxes this season, scoring one goal and assisting another, and is under contract with the club until June 2021.
